Blessed and Only Potentate

"Which in His times He shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords" 1 Timothy 6:15
This term is used but once in the Bible and means the "All Powerful One." Limitless power is His. It is to be manifested at His appearing who is King of kings and Lord of lords. This will be the final event. Our Lord will reveal Himself and will bring with Him the crowns for the victors who have waged a good warfare and stand ready to receive the promised prize, which none can dispute His authority or right to bestow. Paul is so overcome with this vision that he breaks forth in notes of highest acclaim (read the sixteenth verse).
Oh, Thou Mighty One, we unite with Thy servant Paul and ascribe honor and power unto Thy name. Amen.
